This magnificent, historic building is set back from the road with secure parking ~ affording peace and relaxation whilst enjoying the seclusion and privacy you would expect from your “home from home”. Easy walk to all attractions such as York Minster, museums, theatres, art gallery, river-trips, restaurants, shops and a convenient supermarket just around the corner. ENJOY !
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building and pets are not allowed in the holiday accommodation. Stag or Hen parties are not accepted.

THINGS TO DO
Cliffords Tower
The stunning panoramic views over York from the top of Clifford's Tower, make it the ideal starting point for any visit to the city. There's plenty to discover at this imposing tower standing proud on its high mound, raised by William the Conqueror.
Viking History
Discover the sights, sounds and smells of Viking-Age. The Jorvik centre is a 15 minute walk and other historical attractions.
Bars and Restaurants
York offers a full range of award winning restaurants and bars, these are just a few minutes walk from County House, Including the Ivy and Star Inn, both a short walk away.
Bar walls
Circling York, the Roman bar walls can be walked in a few hours. One entrance to them is 2 mins from the apartments. The Bar walls are a great way to start your visit to York.

The Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of Saint Peter in York, commonly known as York Minster, is the cathedral of York, England, and is one of the largest of its kind in Northern Europe. Can be seen from some of our apartments and is just a 5 minute walk
